Ben King's haunting guitar is the

stories. Here's Ben's new CD that features old-time gospel music
played in the style you've heard between and behind my words.

King has provided the incidental music for two of Real Live
Preacher’s CD and now he has his own solo CD featuring the
gospel guitar sound of the 1920s and 1930s. Ben provides a
program that amounts to “roots music for the soul” with 14 tunes
like: “Will The Circle Be Unbroken,” “Shall We Gather At the
River,” “The Sweet By and By,” “Amazing Grace” and “Swing Low,
Sweet Chariot.” “Sidewalk Saints” is being featured nationally
on several NPR stations and critics have been calling it the
“feel good CD of the year.” King plays an antique resonator
guitar backed by percussion and wordless vocals known as
“Baptist Moans.”
